Here at Anchor Centre the health and wellbeing of our patients is our priority, and we are aware that these are difficult times for families and home life can be challenging.
Anchor Centre is fully compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act and has wheelchair access throughout. All patient information guides are available in Braille, on disk and in large print if required.
Test results are generally discussed with you immediately after a test has taken place. If it is not possible to discuss outcomes with you immediately, your clinician will inform you on when you will receive these results.
If you take medication on a long-term basis, you can order a repeat prescriptions using a number of options.
If you are sick for more than seven days, your employer can ask you to give them some form of medical evidence to support payment of SSP (statutory sick pay). Proof of your illness typically comes from a ‘Fit Note’ which you can ask from your GP.
If you need urgent medical care when the centre is closed, please call NHS 111. This is the three digit telephone number for urgent care services in the area.
